Fall weather can make this especially tricky. A yard may be covered in leaves when your Scooper arrives, hiding pet waste underneath. Later that afternoon, the wind may blow those leaves across the yard and suddenly reveal a pile that wasn’t visible during your service.

Understandably, it can look like we simply walked past it — when in reality, it may have been completely covered at the time we were there.

The best way to help your Scooper provide the most thorough service possible during the fall is simply to stay on top of leaf removal in the areas your dog uses.

You certainly don’t need a perfectly manicured lawn before every visit. But keeping heavy leaf coverage cleared — especially in your dog’s favorite potty areas — gives us the visibility we need to find as much pet waste as possible.

And if we do miss something because it was hidden? We’ll get it on the next visit as long as the area is clear and the pile is visible.
