Meet the owner
To me, pet waste removal is about much more than picking up after dogs. It's about showing up, communicating honestly, and treating every client's property with the same care and respect I would want for my own home. That philosophy is why every client is number one.
When my mother and I took over Big Business Scoopers from a family friend in 2015, I never imagined I would one day become its owner. Today I'm proud to carry forward a business that has helped New Jersey dog families enjoy cleaner yards since 2003.
Alongside the business, I serve as Secretary of aPaws, the Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists, where I work with others in our industry to raise the standards for pet waste removal.

Where it all began
Big Business Scoopers has always been shaped by the people who believed in the work and built the company one yard at a time.
Former Owner
When the chance came to buy Big Business Scoopers from longtime family friend Tom Watson in 2015, Tina left a corporate career for a challenge she never expected, and found one of the most rewarding chapters of her life.
Working alongside her daughter Emily, she helped grow the company into the trusted local service it is today. Although now retired, her standards still shape how the team works.
Founder
In 2003 Tom Watson founded Big Business Scoopers with a simple idea: help dog owners enjoy cleaner yards without one more chore on their list. Long before pet waste removal was a widely known service, he built one of New Jersey's earliest.
For more than a decade he earned local families' trust with reliable service and a great sense of humor, then in 2015 passed the business to Tina, knowing it would stay in good hands.

“Let's face it - no one LOVES picking up after their dogs. It's one thing when walking them, but if you have a fenced yard like I do, following them out every time they go is too time-consuming. I have two large dogs, a black lab mix and a German Shepherd mix, and they love to sunbathe and run. Emily and the Big Business Scoopers team are amazing! They always let us know when they're on their way so we can ensure the dogs are inside, or are at least ready for someone to come into "their territory".
