Meet the EntrePOOneurs

Owner of Big Business Scoopers, Christina LaBeaume, works with her daughter, Emily Crowley, and sister, Tracy Cable, on spreading the word about her dog poop pick up and removal services.

Tracy Cable , Christina’s sister, joined the team in December 2017 and helps handle customer service and billing related issues. A mother of two teenage boys who have had several pets throughout the years, she knows how difficult it can be to stay on top of all the messes they make. She is proud to be part of a family business that helps other families save time on their dirty chores so they can spend more time on the important things in life!

Christina LaBeaume never imagined owning and managing a small business after decades of working in the corporate world for Merck, Medco and Express Scripts. Yet when the opportunity arose to purchase the dog poop pick up and removal business from longtime colleague and family friend, Tom Watson, it seemed like a rewarding path to take. And it was! Tina has found so much satisfaction and fulfillment in working with dog owners and their beloved fur babies. She sticks by Big Business’ promise that while we work with number two, the customer (human or dog!) is always number ONE.

Emily Crowley decided to start helping her mother, Christina, when she bought the business in 2015 and has never looked back. In addition to managing the team of seven Scoopers, marketing and social media, Emily was recently elected to the 2019 aPaws Board of Directors . She helps the Association plan their annual convention as well as manage membership requests from pooper scoopers nationwide. Emily also has two poop scooping routes in Gloucester County. As the next owner of the business, she is looking forward to a bright future of clean, poop free yards and happy, healthy dogs.

The Backstory

Tom Watson started Big Business Scoopers in April 2003 after recognizing that dog owners in his town, Short Hills, could benefit from a dog poop pick up service. Christina LaBeaume, who worked with Tom for several decades in corporate, purchased Big Business in August 2015.

We, and by we I mean especially Simba, our big dog, will miss Emily and the other scoopers. Emily was never too busy to have a kind word for Simba and me. Had we not moved out of state, we would still be customers.
— Claude D., Short Hills
These people were amazing ... They made me feel comfortable and the guy who came was wonderful ... He was kind, courteous and very professional. Will definitely use them again and recommend them.
— Joni L., Totowa

Our Priorities as a Dog Poop Cleanup Service:

CUSTOMERS (HUMAN & DOG) – Our business is about NUMBER TWO but our customers are NUMBER ONE!
A little silly, but we not only believe this, we really follow through on it.  We care about those that hire us, their dogs and the smallest of details.  Many of our customers become lifelong friends.  If you ever have a problem with our dog poop removal services then we make that our problem.  Just call, text or e-mail us anytime.

SERVICE – What dog poop?  We want you to forget it was ever there ...
Our scooping services are guaranteed.  We promise to do everything and anything to give you complete, dependable and superior services ... every single time.  We are constantly accepting and listening to feedback and ideas on how we can improve our service to you.  Not 110% satisfied?  Please let us know!

PROMISES – We say what we mean AND mean what we say!
We know that we need to prove ourselves and earn your trust.  We come onto your property and clean your yard often when you are not home.  Your beloved pups are often in your yard with us.  We will do whatever it takes to keep you satisfied by exceeding your expectations both professionally and personally.
